The selection process prioritizes 1,107 families based on specific criteria. The financial support will begin at 2,000 baht per elderly person per month, but in certain cases where additional expenses are necessary, the amount can be increased to 3,000 baht per elderly person per month. However, it is important to note that the average amount received per elderly person per month is 2,000 baht.
For families eligible to receive the "Family Support Grant," the elderly person responsible for their care must be in a state of poverty.
There are no caregivers, such as those who are abandoned or left alone, as well as if children or relatives are unable to care for them due to insufficient income, etc. These conditions of poverty will be one of the important conditions for requesting assistance.
